Gauri Tiwari, a talented Class X student of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, brought laurels to the institution by securing the Appreciation Prize in the prestigious Punjabi Sahit Sirjan and Kavita Gayan Competition. The event was held on August 1, 2025, at Government College for Girls, Bharat Nagar Chowk, Ludhiana. With over 105 participants from more than 50 reputed schools across the district , the competition witnessed intense poetic talent. Amidst this vibrant literary gathering, Gauri’s heartfelt and expressive recitation stood out, earning her a cash prize of ₹500 and commendation from the panel of esteemed judges.
The event was organized to celebrate and promote Punjabi literature, nurturing young voices to explore and express the cultural richness of the language through poetry. Principal Mrs Seema Gupta congratulated Gaur i on her outstanding achievement, saying, "We are immensely proud of Gauri’s accomplishment.
