Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, proudly commemorated Quit India Movement Day to honor the indomitable spirit and sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters. The day was marked by a series of engaging and meaningful activities that showcased students’ creativity, patriotism and historical awareness:
Class VI students penned inspiring slogans on the Quit India Movement, emphasizing the values of freedom, unity and resistance.
Class VII students designed impactful posters that vividly portrayed the essence and significance of the movement in India's freedom struggle.
Class VIII students prepared informative A4 sheets , illustrating the contributions of key leaders with pictures and thoughtful write-ups.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta urged students to draw inspiration from the past. “On this Quit India Movement Day, let us salute the courage and resilience of our freedom fighters. Their sacrifices remind us of our responsibility to build a strong, united and progressive nation,” she said.
The event served as a powerful reminder of India’s glorious struggle for independence and the importance of instilling patriotic values in younger generations.
