BVM (USN) Celebrates the Sacred Bond of Raksha Bandhan with
Cultural Grace and Creative Zeal
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, joyfully celebrated Raksha Bandhan — the revered festival that honours the cherished bond between brothers and sisters — with heartfelt enthusiasm and cultural elegance.
The celebration commenced with an insightful address by Kunj Gusian (Class VIII), who eloquently spoke about the significance of Raksha Bandhan, underlining the strength of familial bonds and the symbolism of the protective thread. Adding a poetic touch to the event, budding poetess Akshita (Class VII) captivated everyone with a heartfelt poem that beautifully encapsulated the spirit of sibling love.To infuse the festive mood with creativity, a vibrant Rakhi Making Competition was organized for students of Classes IV and V , where young artisans showcased their talent through intricately crafted rakhis. Simultaneously, students of Class III engaged in a joyful Greeting Card Making Activity, designing colourful cards that radiated affection and festive warmth.
Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta extended her heartfelt wishes to all, stating that Raksha Bandhan is more than a tradition — it is a celebration of the sacred and enduring bond between siblings, rooted in the timeless values of love, sharing and mutual care.
