Immersed in the spirit of patriotism, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, radiated vibrant fervour on the eve of the 79th Independence Day. Draped in the resplendent hues of the Tricolour, the school community gathered to honour the ideals of freedom, unity, and integrity. The august presence of esteemed BVM Trust members lent a dignified aura to the occasion.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag by Sh. Manoj Gupta ji (President, BVM Trust), Sh. Prakash Chand Goyal ji (Secretary), Sh. Kailash Chander Maini ji,(Member) Sh. Ashok Vyas ji, and Sh. Adish Bamba ji (Co opted Members) accompanied by Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta, Vice Principals and Coordinators . As the Tiranga soared high, the National Anthem resonated across the grounds, its solemn strains evoking pride, reverence and a renewed sense of duty.
A stirring patriotic group song by the faculty choir deepened the emotional connect, while the entire gathering pledged allegiance to the nation beneath the fluttering flag. In her address, Mrs. Sangeeta Thapar (TGT) reminded all that independence is not merely inherited—it is a sacred trust to be honoured through dedication and service.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Shri Prakash Chand Goyal ji extended warm Independence Day greetings and recalled that the day also coincides with the birth anniversary of Shri Aurobindo, whose vision of a strong, self-reliant India continues to inspire generations. He invoked the unflinching ideals of Mahamana Malviyaji and the steadfast resolve of Sardar Patel, emphasising that a nation rises when its people remain united, courageous and devoted to the common good. Reaffirming the Trust’s commitment to social responsibility, he shared that, through the BVM Trust Disaster Relief Fund, assistance is being extended to those affected in Uttarakhand—upholding the belief that in every challenge, we are one family and one nation.
The celebration concluded with the rousing strains of Vande Mataram, leaving hearts stirred with pride and resolve.
