Kudos to BVM USN's Karatekas for indomitable spirit at District Karate Tournament
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, basked in glory as its budding champions displayed remarkable talent and sportsmanship at the District Level Karate Tournament held at Mount International School, Doraha, held from 19th to 21st August 2025. The event was organized by the District Sports Department under the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).In the fiercely contested Under-14 category, Deepti Bainwal (Class VI-D) clinched a Bronze Medal, bringing pride and laurels to the school. Her classmate, Yuvraj (Class VI-D), also exhibited commendable dedication and zeal in his spirited participation.
The tournament witnessed participation from 10 zones with 65 young karatekas competing with passion and discipline. Principal Mrs Seema Gupta congratulated Deepti on her splendid achievement and applauded the Sports Department for nurturing talent and igniting the sporting spirit among students. She expressed confidence that the young karatekas of BVM USN will continue to script glorious victories in the future too.
