From Gratitude to Growth
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, organised a week-long Mental Health Awareness Programme from October 4 to October 9, 2025, aimed at sensitising students to the significance of emotional well-being and mental fitness.The week commenced with an inspiring teacher talk by Mrs. Simky (PGT Psychology), who enlightened students on fostering positivity, self-awareness and effective stress management. A refreshing Pranayam activity conducted for Class IV highlighted the calming benefits of mindful breathing, promoting inner peace and focus. Class V students viewed an insightful video on Mental Health, enhancing their understanding of emotional wellness, while Class VI students expressed heartfelt gratitude through the Gratitude Corner activity, celebrating the power of thankfulness. To further nurture creativity and reflection, Class VII students participated in Journal Writing, and Class VIII students designed impactful Posters conveying meaningful messages on mental health awareness.
Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta appreciated the earnest efforts of the BVMites, emphasizing that such initiatives are instrumental in nurturing resilience, empathy and optimism — essential traits for a balanced and fulfilling life.
