Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, celebrated Diwali with devotion, creativity, and environmental consciousness. The day commenced with a soulful rendition of Sundar Kand Path , invoking blessings and positivity. Sh PC Goyal ji (Secretary BVM Trust) & CA Rajiv Puri ji (Joint Secretary BVM Trust) graced this auspicious eve .A melodious devotional bhajan by the school music choir further elevated the festive spirit. Kunj (Class VIII) highlighted the significance of the festival in his speech and encouraged everyone to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali.
A plethora of creative and value-based activities were conducted across all classes. Students of Classes I & II presented a classical skit based on the Ramayana, while Class III participated in Chaupai Gayan. Class IV crafted torans and wall hangings, and Class V engaged in gift-wrapping activities . A “Best Out of Waste” activity was conducted for Class VI, followed by lantern-making for Class VII. Class VIII illustrated the theme “Light Over Darkness” through vibrant collages, and Class IX designed beautiful rangolis . Class X participated in a Diwali quiz , while senior Art students of Classes XI and XII created impactful posters.
An Inter-House bulletin board decoration competition was also organised to mark the occasion. Adding to the festive charm, all classes contributed to decorating their classrooms.
On this auspicious occasion, Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta extended her heartfelt greetings and remarked,
