“Be Wise, Be Vigilant— Together Towards a Future of Integrity and Responsibility.'
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 27 to November 2, 2025, with the aim of fostering integrity, transparency, and accountability in public life. The observance also marked the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel , honouring his monumental role in uniting the nation and upholding its integrity.
The week commenced with an enlightening speech by Palak Gogna of Class XI, who shared valuable insights on the importance of vigilance and integrity in everyday life. This was followed by the Integrity Pledge administered by Mrs. Gurjit (PGT English), wherein students and staff reaffirmed their commitment to uphold ethical values and moral conduct.Students of Class VIII actively participated in a Slogan Writing Activity on the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” Their creative and thought-provoking slogans reflected a deep understanding of personal responsibility in shaping a corruption-free society.
In her address, Principal Mrs Seema Gupta motivated all to adopt honesty, transparency, and responsibility as cornerstones of their character. She emphasized that instilling these virtues in young minds is fundamental to building a just, ethical and progressive nation.
