BVM, USN Celebrates National Youth Day with Reverence and Inspiration
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, commemorated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day with deep reverence and enthusiasm. The celebration sought to inspire young minds by reflecting on the life, teachings and lofty ideals of the great philosopher, spiritual luminary and enduring youth icon of India, Swami Vivekananda Ji. On this occasion, Mr Raj Kumar (TGT Sanskrit) shared profound insights into Swami Vivekananda’s vision for the youth, underscoring the significance of self-belief, discipline and unwavering dedication to nation-building .
Adding vibrancy to the event, students of Class VII participated in a slogan-speaking activity, confidently voicing Swamiji’s powerful thoughts and messages, while students of Class II presented a meaningful role play depicting the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs Seema Gupta motivated the students by affirming that Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings continue to guide and inspire generations. She emphasized that the future of the nation rests firmly on the values, character and inner strength of its youth.
