“ My Vote, My Right, My Voice for a Stronger Nation! ”
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, USN, Ludhiana, observed National Voters’ Day with great enthusiasm on January 24, 2026. The event was organised to empower young minds and highlight the vital role of voting in strengthening the democratic fabric of the nation .Mrs Priyanka Kapila (TGT Social Science) delivered an inspiring address, motivating students to value and exercise their right to vote, while emphasizing its profound impact on democracy and nation-building.
Students of Class VIII showcased their creativity through a Poster Making Activity, beautifully portraying the importance of voting.Adding energy and expression to the celebration, Class IV students participated in a Slogan Speaking Contest on “Mera Vote, Mera Adhikar,” confidently demonstrating their awareness and understanding of the democratic process.
Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta motivated the students and remarked,"Voting is not just a right but a sacred responsibility of every citizen. Each vote strengthens democracy and each voice contributes to the nation’s progress. I appreciate the enthusiastic participation of our students in activities and urge them to grow into aware, responsible citizens and future leaders who will uphold democratic values and shape the destiny of our great nation."
