In a resounding testament to the spirit of innovation and scientific inquiry, two budding innovators, Saavi Gupta and Vanshika of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, have brought immense pride to the institution by securing a prestigious spot in the National rankings of the INSPIRE Awards – MANAK Scheme , an initiative of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
Out of 345 sanctioned projects across the state of Punjab, Ludhiana district delivered an outstanding performance with 58 selections, prominently highlighted by the innovative ideas presented by BVM’s young scientists.The selected students exhibited remarkable scientific temper and creativity by presenting solutions aimed at addressing contemporary challenges. Their projects were widely appreciated for their originality, practicality and potential impact.
Saavi Gupta (Class VIII) presented the project titled “VIBRO FIT: E-Waste Powered Fat Churner.”
Vanshika (Class VII) conceptualized the innovative project “Low Budget PC: Future Nexus.”
Recognizing the promise of these young innovators “Million Minds,” the Department of Science & Technology (DST) has sanctioned a seed grant of ₹10,000 to each student to help them develop their ideas into working prototypes. Principal Mrs. Seema Gupta applauded the students for their exceptional achievement and commended the dedicated guidance of thei r mentor Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat (TGT) . She extended her heartfelt congratulations to Saavi Gupta and Vanshika for their remarkable accomplishments and wished them continued success in their future scientific endeavours too.
