Empowering Women, Securing Futures: BVM USN Hosts Inspiring Session on Financial Literacy

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, organized an insightful and empowering session on 'Women Financial Empowerment' with an objective of enhancing financial literacy and encouraging women to take confident strides towards financial independence.
The distinguished resource person for the session was Mr. Pankaj Sahijwani, a renowned Financial Literacy Expert. Through an engaging and interactive presentation, he demystified key financial concepts such as budgeting, saving and the fundamentals of investing. Stressing the importance of prudent financial planning, he advocated the principle of “Save first, spend later” and encouraged participants to cultivate the habit of saving early for a secure future.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sahijwani remarked, “Financial independence gives women the freedom to choose and the power to lead. Every female must learn how to earn, save and grow her money.” He also emphasized the need for open financial discussions within families and urged everyone to support and promote financial inclusion for women. In his address, Principal Mr. Pawan Sood highlighted the significance of financial awareness in today’s world. He stated, “A truly progressive society is built on financially confident women. Equipping our staff with financial knowledge is an investment in stronger families and a stronger nation".
