Symphony of Patriotism: BVM Commemorates 150 Glorious Years of Vande Mataram

“Vande Mataram” is not merely a song; it is a timeless anthem of love, devotion and pride for our motherland, inspiring generations of Indians with its spirit of patriotism.
To commemorate the 150th Year Celebration of Vande Mataram under the Student Social Responsibility (SSR) Campaign , the students of Classes VII–VIII of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar, enthusiastically participated in a series of meaningful and creative activities designed to foster patriotism and deepen their connection with the nation’s rich heritage.
As part of the celebration, Mrs. Sangeeta (TGT Hindi) eloquently highlighted the historical significance of Vande Mataram and its pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle. Her inspiring address enabled students to appreciate the cultural, emotional and historical essence of this iconic national song.
The celebration came alive with a soulful Singing Activity , where students rendered Vande Mataram with immense zeal and devotion, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervour. The vibrant Dance Activity served as a powerful expression of love for the nation, allowing students to showcase their creativity, confidence and deep respect for the motherland.
Adding an artistic dimension to the event, students displayed remarkable talent in the Calligraphy Activity, beautifully inscribing the words “Vande Mataram ” along with patriotic quotations with exceptional creativity and precision.
Principal Mr. Pawan Sood appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the Bvmites and remarked that Vande Mataram symbolizes the pride, unity and spirit of our nation. He emphasized that such activities help students connect with India’s glorious heritage while strengthening their sense of patriotism. He congratulated everyone for making the celebration truly meaningful and memorable.
