Igniting Potential, Inspiring Excellence: BVM (USN) Celebrates World Youth Skills Day
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, celebrated World Youth Skills Day with great enthusiasm, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing confident, competent and future-ready learners. The programme underscored the significance of equipping students with the skills and mindset essential for success in the dynamic world of the 21st century.
In his address , Mr. Narinder Singh Rawat (TGT Science) highlighted the importance of developing vital life skills, employability skills, digital literacy, creativity, effective communication, leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. He encouraged students to embrace continuous learning and innovation as the cornerstones of personal and professional growth.
Adding a practical dimension to the celebration, the Computer Department conducted an engaging hands-on PowerPoint presentation workshop, enabling students to enhance their digital competencies through experiential learning.
Students participated with remarkable enthusiasm, showcasing innovation, collaboration and a keen spirit of lifelong learning. The programme effectively reinforced the significance of balancing academic excellence with practical skill development, in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Principal Mr. Pawan Sood remarked, "The youth of today are the architects of tomorrow.
