Saavi Gupta Wins Double Laurels at GYS Samasya Khoj 2026
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, has added yet another glorious chapter to its legacy of excellence as Saavi Gupta of Class IX brought national recognition to the institution by securing two Consolation Prizes in the prestigious GYS Samasya Khoj 2026, a National Problem Identification Competition for high school students.
Showcasing exceptional creativity, analytical thinking and social consciousness, Saavi emerged among the Top 30 finalists nationwide from over 1,000 entries representing twenty states across India. Her thought-provoking problem statements—"AI Fake Content is Confusing People Online" and "No Lab, No Experiment: Lack of Science Labs in Schools"—were highly appreciated by the jury for addressing contemporary challenges with originality, relevance and a solution-oriented outlook.
In recognition of her outstanding achievement, Saavi will be awarded a cash prize of ₹1,000 (₹500 for each winning entry), along with Merit Certificates, celebrating her remarkable contribution to innovative thinking and problem identification.
Congratulating the young achiever, Principal Mr. Pawan Sood lauded Saavi Gupta for her exemplary performance and commended her mentor, Mr. Narendra Singh Rawat , for his dedicated guidance and unwavering encouragement. He remarked that this outstanding accomplishment reflects the school's commitment to fostering inquiry, innovation, and critical thinking among students.
