BVM USN Champions Kindness Through an Empowering Anti-Bullying Awareness Session
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, organised an impactful Anti-Bullying Awareness Session for the students of Class VIII today, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive and respectful school environment. The session was conducted by Dr. Navpreet Bhattal, eminent psychologist and CBSE Resource Person.
The programme commenced with an engaging clapping activity, setting a positive and interactive tone. Through relatable examples, real-life situations and informative videos, Dr. Bhattal sensitised students to the four major forms of bullying—Physical, Verbal, Social, and Cyber Bullying. She highlighted the emotional impact of bullying and empowered students with practical strategies to prevent, address and report such behaviour.The students participated enthusiastically, making the session lively, reflective and meaningful.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Pawan Sood urged students to uphold the values of kindness, empathy and mutual respect. He encouraged them to speak up against bullying, support their peers and promptly report any incidents to teachers, reiterating that a secure and compassionate school environment is fundamental to every child's holistic development.
