BVM Girls Checkmate the Competition; Clinch Third Position at Zonal Chess Tournament
Bringing laurels to the school, the Under-19 Girls' Chess Team of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana secured the Third Position at the Zonal Chess Tournament* held at Pathohar Khalsa National Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana.The talented team comprising Chhavi, Subhashree Majhi, Tehzeeb and Anshika of Class XII displayed remarkable concentration, strategic thinking and teamwork throughout the tournament. Competing against strong opponents from various schools, the girls demonstrated exceptional skill and determination to earn a place on the winners' podium. Adding another feather to the school’s cap, Subhashree Majhi of Class XII delivered an outstanding individual performance and has been selected to represent the zone at the upcoming District Level Chess Tournament. Principal Mr. Pawan Sood congratulated the team on their commendable achievement and appreciated their dedication and spirit. He also commended their mentor, Ms. Rachna, for her sincere guidance and encouragement and wished the team continued success in the future also.
