Champions in Motion: BVM USN Boys Seize Zonal Handball Glory With Ist Position!
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, once again etched its name in the annals of sporting excellence as its Under-14 Boys’ Handball Team clinched the First Position at the Zonal Sports Championship held at P.A.U. School on August 10 and 11, 2026.
Organised by the Zonal Sports Department under the aegis of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), the championship brought together young athletes in a spirited celebration of skill, stamina and sportsmanship. Rising to the occasion with precision, perseverance and powerful teamwork, the BVM boys displayed remarkable composure and competitive zeal throughout the tournament. Their cohesive play and relentless determination propelled them to a well-deserved Zonal Championship title.The victorious squad comprised Jaiveer, Sarthik, Pranshul, Swayam, Sukhdeep, Jyant, Om Kumar, Kavish Sharma, Aniket Sharma, Divyam, Dheeraj Dhir, Tarush Kapoor, Mayank, Prince and Arsh.
Congratulating the young champions, Principal Mr. Pawan Sood lauded their dedication and sporting spirit, remarking, “This victory is a reflection of our students’ hard work, discipline and unwavering determination.” He extended his heartfelt congratulations to the triumphant team and their mentor, Mr. Sahil Sharma, whose guidance and encouragement played a pivotal role in this remarkable achievement.
