Threads of Emotion, Strokes of Awareness: BVM USN Shines at Takshila Mind Space

Students of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, USN, Ludhiana brought immense pride to the school with their outstanding performance at the Takshila Mind Space Mental Health Summit, organised by Delhi Public School, Ludhiana, on 13th August 2026. The inter-school summit brought together 13 teams, providing students a meaningful platform to explore the vital themes of mental health and emotional well-being through creativity and expression.
In the “Threads of Emotion: Poetry Recitation” category, Vanshika of Class VIII-C captivated Humanities audience and jury with her expressive and soulful rendition, beautifully weaving words and emotions to portray the subtle nuances of the human experience. Her evocative presentation earned her the First Position.
Adding another feather to the school’s cap, Yadvi Gupta of Class VI- D secured the Second Position in “Art for Awareness: Poster Making.” Her imaginative and thought-provoking artwork effectively conveyed the significance of mental well-being, transforming a creative canvas into a powerful message of awareness and empathy.
A team of five students represented BVM USN at the summit under the able guidance of Ms. Pallavi Sharma, Event In-charge, and Ms. Brahmjyot Kaur, Event In-charge and accompanying Teacher. The participants displayed remarkable creativity, confidence and sensitivity while engaging meaningfully with the theme of emotional wellness.
