Adding yet another proud feather to its cap, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana, celebrated the remarkable achievement of its young Kurash champion Yuvraj Jethi, who was felicitated at the Independence Day function held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, on August 15, 2026.
Yuvraj earned international acclaim by clinching a Bronze Medal at the World Kurash Championship, held in Mongolia from December 2–8, 2024. His stellar performance on the global arena brought immense pride not only to BVM USN but also to Ludhiana and Punjab, exemplifying extraordinary grit, discipline and sporting excellence.
In recognition of his outstanding international achievement, Yuvraj was honoured during the prestigious Independence Day celebrations in the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, Shri Himanshu Jain, and Shri Harpal Singh Cheema . The dignitaries applauded the young champion's exceptional accomplishment and extended their best wishes for his future sporting endeavours.
