BVM USN EMPOWERS YOUNG MINDS WITH ‘GOOD TOUCH, BAD TOUCH’ AWARENESS SESSION « 22/Aug/2026

Aiming at sensitising children to personal safety and respectful boundaries , Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, USN organised an informative and age-appropriate awareness session on “Good Touch, Bad Touch” for the students of Class V. Total 137 students attended the session . The session was conducted with the objective of sensitising students about personal safety, appropriate and inappropriate physical contact, and the importance of speaking up in uncomfortable situations.
The session was conducted by Dr. Navpreet Bhathal, who interacted with the students in a simple, engaging and child-friendly manner. Students were guided on recognising unsafe situations, maintaining personal boundaries, trusting their instincts and seeking help from trusted adults whenever required.
The interactive session encouraged students to understand that their body belongs to them and that they have the right to say “No” to any touch that makes them feel uncomfortable or unsafe. The students participated enthusiastically and gained valuable awareness about personal safety and self-protection.
Principal Mr. Pawan Sood appreciated the initiative and lauded the efforts of the resource person for conducting such an important and meaningful session. He emphasised that awareness and open communication are essential for ensuring the safety, confidence and well-being of children.
