Priyansh Patel, a class VII student of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar, Ludhiana brought laurels to school by emerging as the winner amongst the participants from more than hundred schools in 106th Indian Science Congress held at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar. In this Rashtriya Kishore Vaigyanik Sammelan, he was given extempore task for waste management. His creative, innovative and viable ideas regarding waste management made the experts awe-struck. The young contestant competed with the students of VI to XII class. A team of 15 blooming bhartiyans attended the science congress along with science teachers Mr.Narendra Rawat and Mrs. Kiran Bala. Everyone was enthralled by their scientific aptitude.
Priyansh gives credit of his achievement to scientific & innovative atmosphere of the school, access to various technical components in hi-tech labs of school, cooperation of his teachers and ever motivating principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi. The management of the school applauded the achievement of Priyansh and blessed him for his bright future.
