To inculcate the feelings of patriotism among Bvmites 70th Republic Day was celebrated in its all solemnity and grandeur at BVM (USN). The school premise was beautifully decorated with tiny tricolour flags. Ms Pallavi Sharma (English educator) recited a patriotic poem. The BVM faculty paid tribute to the motherland by singing melodious song ‘Jai Bharti Jai Bharti’ in chorus. The whole campus echoed with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm when Mr. Raj kumar (Sanskrit) administered the pledge of integrity, exhorting the Bvmites to prove worthy citizens of their nation. Lovish and Naman Chaudhary of class X aroused every one’s patriotic feeling through their short messages.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi enlightened the BVMites by quoting various examples of the great heroes of the country who left no stone unturned to serve the nation. She emphasized to be true to the constitution of India. She reiterated the need for being resolute on the path of truth and honesty to achieve the goal of taking India to greater heights. Shri M. M. Bamba Ji (Treasurer of BVM Trust) paid tribute to late Shri Rajendra Prasad ji, the facilitator of BVM USN by reciting a self composed poem. He further motivated the students to follow the footsteps of Air Vice Marshal Manvinder Singh and Major General Gulab Singh Rawat (BVM Alumni) for serving the country and making their almamater proud. He also paid homage to the martyrs who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom, welfare and the progress of their beloved country. He congratulated one and all on the auspicious occasion of 70th Republic Day of the nation.
