In Summer Coterie 2019 summer workshops are designed to give an opportunity to the students to groom themselves by participating in creative and innovative activities according to their taste and talents, adding new feathers to their personality in various workshops in -Art and craft ,English Ville, heritage club ,music world :vocal and instrumental ,dance: classical ,semi classical dance on Bollywood. Cookery club, ATL thinking club model making, kids fun zone for kindergarteners.
The day commenced in the serenity of dawn to promote health for everybody. Understanding the need of cleanliness and environmental conservation promising students of class 12th participated in the ‘ National Cleanliness Drive’ in collaboration with an enlightened BVM alumnus Mr. Davinder Dawar (B. Arch Birmingham University) and his team on the project- Clean and Green Ludhiana. They spread awareness to stop littering on the roads, planting more and more trees and become the Cleanliness Guardians Of the society. A dental checkup was conducted by doctor Manjeet Kaur from Aykai Hospital Sector 39, Chandigarh Road Ludhiana to instill personal hygiene and dental care of students. To instill the creativity and to inculcate love for nature blooming BVMites showcased their imagination by making handmade pots and planted saplings in them. The students eagerly pursued their hobbies and learned with great passion .Dancing skills of exuberant Bhartiyans are honed in classical & semi classical dance. Students tapped their feet on Punjabi boliyan. Young Chefs created culinary sensations by preparing lip-smacking Idli and sambar under the guidance of their mentors. Innovation fervor is at best as the students are giving shape to their ideas with scientific approach in Atal Tinkering Lab. The zealous innovators alongwith their mentors are continuously working towards the path of exploration, experimentation and designing. In Art & Craft workshop students learn the art of 3D mix media painting, table making and name plate designing.
Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi motivated the students to participate in various activities to uplift their potential and make the best possible use of their hidden talents during these workshops offered a variety of skills & develop their innate talents.
