Bhartiyans at BVM, USN were acquainted with the Black Day registered in the history of the world since 1945. On this ill fated day the two beautiful cities of Japan-Hiroshima and Nagasaki were completely devastated by the nuclear bombs dropped by the US air forces resulting in the mass killing of 80000 people in one instance and crippling the coming generation due to the blast radiation and heat generated in the blast. Tarak (class 10th) apprised one and all with the horrendous impacts of nuclear bombs on humanity, giving a message to promote universal brotherhood and peace on the planet.
An informative PowerPoint presentation was shown to the students depicting the after effects of destruction of both cities completely. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi said, ‘we can’t allow any use of nuclear weapons in future, no more Hiroshimas and Nagasakis. Let the peace prevail on our planet.’
