Keeping the festive spirit alive, Dussehra was celebrated at BVM USN with utmost fervor and ardor. To mark Lord Rama's victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that goodness always triumphs over evil, the students of classes I, II, VI, VII, burnt effigy of Ravana along with one evil habit each that they had written on paper slips, promising to shun it. The tiny tots of class III engage d themselves in craft activity under the guidance of Art & Craft department. Blooming buds of class IV chanted chaupais from the Ramayana ,along with their teachers. Mrs. Sheetal Rani (TGT Hindi) acquainted the students that no matter how intelligent a person is, his pride always becomes the reason of his fall, a single mistake commited by Ravana overpowered and nullified his entire wisdom .Extending her greetings on this sacred day ,Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal said that the purpose behind the festive celebration is to acquaint our youth with our rich culture and show them the path of truth, righteousness and sublimity.
