BVM USN observed WORLD FOOD DAY with the prime purpose of raising awareness to eradicate malnutrition, undernutrition and hunger prevailing worldwide in today's challenging circumstances, through immunity booster healthy food .The day is celebrated annually as a key international day of awareness and action dedicated to tackling food hunger."Our actions are our future- better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life" is the theme for World Food Day 2021.
Mrs Sabina (PRT) apprised everyone with the significance of the day .She told that the world has set a challenge to achieve Zero Hunger and better nutrition by 2030. But governments can’t do it alone - everyone has a role to play. She suggested to utilize food before it goes waste and instead deliver it to the people who are in need. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal exhorted that everyone should join hands to deal with this global issue of hunger and malnutrition.
