With an aim to highlight the contributions made by the renowned Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir ,Udham Singh Nagar today celebrated the National Mathematics Day with immense avidity.Mrs Sheetal Dutta (TGT maths) threw light on the life of the great Bhartiyan scholar ,highlighting some inspiring incidents of his life depicting his super intelligence .She also projected the importance of fundamentals of basic Mathematics and its application in simple calculation techniques in day to day life. Backed by a rigorous planning, the creative profusion of fun filled Maths activities brought forth the maximum participation of Bvmites. Enthusiastic students of primary wing exhibited their logical thinking in : Number line in ground , Role play on Shapes, Mathematical Ludo, Tambola and Relay race . Students of middle wing actively participated in role play on tricks of Vedic Maths demonstrating their analytical thinking through magic Square, displaying their mathematical skills by solving the cross word puzzles .
Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal applauded the efforts of the Maths department for creating Mathemagic through productive activities.
