Martyrs' Day was observed at BVM USN today on a virtual platform to commemorate the selfless, supreme sacrifices made by brave sons of the soil - Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev. Shabad Sharma (X) in his address apprised everyone how these freedom fighters fought for the independence of the motherland from the colonial rule , sacrificing their lives on March 23, 1931.Students of class 10, namely Kavish Bajaj and Aastha Grover offered warm tributes through heart touching poems as a mark of reverence for martyrs. Mesmerising song by Gurjinder Singh,(VIII) eulogized the valour of bravehearts. Zealous Tanmeet Kaur, (I) role playing as Bhagat Singh gave the message of patriotism. Paying homage to the martyrs, Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal said, 'Martyrdom is a price one pays to ensure freedom for coming generations.Let's all salute and be grateful to our martyrs who ensured our freedom by sacrificing their everything'.
