BVM observed the auspicious day celebrating Mahavir Jayanti and Dr Bhim Rao Jayanti giving the message of peace, harmony and equality . The prime focus of the celebration was on the teachings of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism who gave the message of ahimsa, world peace and harmony by making no harm to the living beings. His life sutras for a balanced and prosperous life were beautifully articulated by little munchkins of Shishu Vatika .
Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the renowned Indian jurist, politician, philosopher, anthropologist, historian, economist and the principal architect of the Constitution of India was also remembered as his birth anniversary also coincided today. His view was' the constitution is not a mere lawyer's document, it is a vehicle of life and its spirit is always the spirit of the age'.Different activities - quotation writing (class viii), preamble writing (class vi,vii), writing activity on services rendered by Dr Ambedkar ji in the making of constitution (class ix,x) were organised for the students. Extending greetings on this propitious day, Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal exhorted everyone to follow great sermons of Lord Mahavira and teachings of Babasaheb to lead a fulfilled and successful life.
