Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Udham Singh Nagar today organized an interactive and informative session for teachers, themed 'Creating real life connections in the classroom - Post Covid'. The seminar commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the resource person Dr. Geetanjali Kumar, who is a renowned Practicing Counsellor, Trainer, Parenting Coach and Motivational Speaker.She is currently serving as Tele Counselor for MANODARPAN , Delhi helpline initiated by MHRD , India . She has conducted 5000 workshops for Principals, teachers & students.
In today's session Dr Geetanjali primarily suggested to focus on connecting with students through multifarious, simple but fruitful activities to streamline students in learning - post covid time. Along with this , she emphasized that educators should have a positive approach, open communication, respectful listening and unconditional support for the holistic development of the students, in post pandemic era. Various entertaining games were organized to make the session lively and interesting. Teachers were energized to use those games and activities to create a sprightly atmosphere in their classrooms as well. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal commended the innovative techniques shared by Dr Kumar and thanked her with a token of gratitude for such a wonderful & enrichment packed session.
