BVM (USN) organized an innovative and interactive session for the teachers on theme 'Communication and Interpersonal Skills' . The seminar commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the resource persons Ms Manpreet Mann , an expert in Human Resource Management, Cross Culture Management, Business Ethics and Corporate Social responsibility Communication coaching, and is presently working as an Associate professor at PCTE Group of Institutes, with an academic experience of 9 years and Ms Manisha Sood, who is passionate for teaching Economics and keeps herself updated about the economical understandings, is working as an Assistant Professor, teaching Business & Management with an experience of 8 years.The session aimed to strengthen communication skills of the faculty members along with enlightening them on the importance of effective communication, an essential skill in today's world.Emphasising that communication is more than just words, the resources persons shared techniques of effective communication and interpersonal skills such as listening to understand; observation; retention, non-verbal communication; being clear & succinct and being empathetic especially with students.The workshop encouraged the faculty members to improve their performance and enhance their awareness towards their role in the institution by overcoming barriers in communication. Astounding activities were organized to make the session lively. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal applauded the informative techniques shared by both the resource persons and thanked them by presenting a token of gratitude, for such a stupendous session.
