Rejoicing 75 years of independence,our country is celebrating ' Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,' a series of events are being organised at BVM USN to celebrate this grand occasion . Chetna Divas celebrations commenced here today with ' Chetana Diwas procession' by students and staff. Bodacious BVMites marched enthusiastically motivating the masses to hoist the National flag on their houses, shops and offices. Mrs Gurjit (PGT English) expressed her gratitude towards freedom fighters and paid homage to them. She said," The day of 15th August in 1947 has been embossed in the golden history of India. It was a hard and a long high stakes struggle in which many freedom fighters and brave martyrs sacrificed their lives to win freedom for us. A melodious patriotic song by the musical choir filled the air with nationalism. The students pledged to remember the supreme sacrifices of the great martyrs. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal applauded the efforts of students and motivated them to remember our freedom fighters by following their footsteps for the prosperity of our nation.
