'Winners never quit and quitters never win'
BVM, USN celebrated 'National Sports Day' to commemorate the birth anniversary of the hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand. The day is also dedicated to the nations' sports heroes and champions for their contribution and dedication and bringing laurels to the country. Mr Sanjeev Thakur ( Sports Instructor) threw light on the relevance of this special day during the morning assembly. An array of individual and team-based sports activities was organised for the BVMites to build their self-esteem, confidence and social skills .The students (17-19 yrs age group) exhibited true team spirit while participating in ' Volleyball Tournament '. The students (III and IV) enthusiastically participated in Mass PT Drill with great coordination (I to V) proved their fitness in frolicsome atmosphere while participating in 'Sprints' and 'Three legs race'. The celebration of National Sports Day echoed in the school ground. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal applauded the students' endeavours and motivated them to participate in sports to imbibe multiple values and to get freedom from obesity, laziness, stress and anxiety.
