Saluting the strength, skills and achievements of the girls, the International Day of the girl child was celebrated at š±š
š¼ ššš½ under the theme ' Our time is now -our rights, our future . Jiya (X) acquainted everyone with the significance of the day and threw light on the fact that the day eliminates the gender biased challenges faced by girls around the world . Gurleen(IX) depicted the contributions of girls by reciting a wonderful poem. Beautiful posters were made by the artists of class VIII .Ingenious Bhartiyans presented a wonderful play showcasing the plight as well as the achievements of girls in all spheres of life. Budding dancers of grade 1 enthralled one and all with their fabulous dance performance. Saplings of Shishu Vatika spread the message of the day by reciting beautiful poems .
Addressing the girls, Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal said -- A happy and healthy girl child with a safe and progressive environment is what we all dream for a better world. Never doubt your powers of pursuing and achieving dreams and leading the world.
