BVM USN witnessed elegant celebration of Deepawali solemnising the festive spirit under the theme 'Green and Safe Diwali' with piety and enthusiasm. In the morning assembly, zealous Bhartiyans pledged to celebrate Green Diwali as Mrs Sangeeta Thapar(TGT hindi) apprised the students with the significance of the day.The celebration commenced with auspicious reciting of Sri Sunderkand Paath, invoking the blessings of the Almighty to bring peace and prosperity in everybody's life. A plethora of activities- creative cards designing ,handmade light lamps, candles, diyas making, thaali decoration ,bandanwar making, doha gaayan, ingenious paper hanging artifacts , gift packs and various other embellishments by using handmade material. Bodacious Bhartiyans expressed their views and ways to celebrate eco-friendly Diwali through writing activity. In Inter house quiz (VIII) based on the Ramayana, Lokmanya Tilak house won first position, second position was grabbed by Bhagat Singh house whereas Swami Vivekanand and Aurobindo house claimed for the third position respectively. Shishu Vatikans participated enthusiastically in the fun filled activities. Ingenious Bvmites exhibited their creativity by making beautiful designs in Inter House Rangoli competition. In class X and IX , Aurobindo House and Lok Manya Tilak House clinched first position respectively. Sh. P.C Goyal ji (Secretary BVM Trust) and Sh.R.K Behl ji (member BVM Trust) graced the celebration and forwarded their warm wishes and blessings to the students and the faculty. Extending greetings on the festival , Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal exhorted everyone to celebrate the festival of lights in an eco-friendly way.
