Guru Nanak Jayanti, the auspicious day marking the birth of Guru Nanak Sahib Ji was celebrated with great zeal and religious fervor at BVM USN. A special morning assembly was organised to mark the occasion. Karamdeep Kaur (XI Science) apprised everyone with the principles and teachings of the great saint. A serene and calm atmosphere was created through soulful Shabad gayaan- ' Satguru Nanak Pargateya... sung by budding singers. Tiny toddlers of Shishu Vatika came dressed in traditional Sikh attire .The customary ‘Prabhat Pheri’ was led emphasising the importance of Gurpurab. Rendition of 'Panj Pauri Paath' by students and teachers filled the whole atmosphere with divinity. Everyone relished divine Langar spreading the message of oneness. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal urged the students to follow the path of universal brotherhood and peace to promote national integration and communal harmony.
