National Education Day was observed at BVM USN to celebrate birth anniversary of India's first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. An array of activities was organized to make the students understand the importance of education. Tiny tots of Shishu Vatika presented 'Nukkad' play to create awareness about the theme- Education for all, as education prepares us for life, work and citizenship. A seminar by Mrs. Simky (School counselor) inspired the present generation to spread the virtues of literacy around. A video was also shown to students to acknowledge the ideology of Maulana Azad ji to pay tribute to his tireless contribution in creating well informed citizens of the nation. Students of class VIII Jashan Saini and Tanisha Sharma recited an informative poem depicting the vital role of education in the development of a country. Students of class IV participated enthusiastically in slogan writing activity, spreading the message - never let a child be deprived of education. Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal emphasized that education is a treasure which no one can steal away, it makes a person right thinker and able decision maker.
