The Constitution Day was observed at BVM, USN to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. To reiterate the values enshrined in the Constitution the Preamble was read by Naintara (VII) in the morning assembly. Aastha Grover (X) through her speech took the BVMites on the journey of framing of the Indian constitution from its history to its present -day form; its vital role in bringing together ‘an idea called India’.The students were engaged in various activities like ' Role play' on National Symbols (VI) Drafting of State Symbols (VII) the Young Citizens (VIII). Passionate participation of students (IX) in Group Discussion on 'Constitution Assembly in Formation of Construction' and a Quiz on the 'Indian constitution' to highlight and reiterate the values and principles enshrined in the Constitution was a striking feature.Quoting Dr. Ambedkar, 'We are Indians firstly and lastly', Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal expressed the need to promote Constitutional values of Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity among all Indian citizens and urged the students to abide by the Constitution and feel proud to be citizens of a great country.
