BVM USN observed National Voters' Day to mark the foundation day of Election Commission of India. An array of activities was organised to mark this day. Aastha Grover (X) apprised one and all that the constitution of India gives right to vote to every Indian citizen ,who is 18 years old on the qualifying date and above, regardless of status ,colour, caste and creed, under the 'Citizenship Act'. Preamble was read and the voter pledge was taken by the students of IX and X along with the teachers in the morning assembly ensuring "to vote in every election fearlessly. Propitious BVMites of class VIII exhibited their awareness for the right to vote via Slogan speaking activity on "Mera vote, mera adhikar'",Quiz was conducted for class VII to make them aware of this special right.
Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal motivated the upcoming and prevailing voters, to exercise their right fairly and with sagacity to contribute in the constructive expansion and scintillating future of the nation.
