BVM USN paid heartfelt homage to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary. Parul Makkar (X) apprised one and all with the life history of the great leader. Shivyanshi Sharma (X) through her poem motivated her school mates with Gandhi ji’s inspirational thoughts during the morning assembly. Later the whole BVM family observed a two-minute silence in memory of Gandhi ji and took a pledge to follow the path of truth and non-violence. The students of class IV passionately participated in Slogan Speaking Activity' where they presented Gandhi ji's trials and tribulations and relentless efforts in the Indian freedom struggle, besides his contribution in nation-building. Principal Mrs Ranju Mangal reiterated to march selflessly on the path of truthfulness, non- violence, simplicity and humility shown by the great saint and honour his legacy by remembering his teachings and strive to create a more just and peaceful world.
