The pious occasion of Guru Parav was celebrated with prodigious zeal and zest in Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN). The entire atmosphere seemed to be swollen up with the relentless enthusiasm. The mellifluous rendition of Shabad and ‘Satnam Waheguru’ by Mr. Hardeep Singh and the musical choir reverberated the whole school campus. Mrs. Kulwant Gill (teacher) in her speech,emphasized on the importance of being altruistic and compassionate towards the fellow beings as well as society. She also motivated students to follow the path shown by the prophet of humanity and imbibe moral values like helping,sharing,caring, honesty and respecting others. Community langar was also arranged for all the classes during recess. “ The incense of benevolence has a proliferating aroma which needs to be fanned throughout the globe,” said the Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi while addressing the sutdents. She also conveyed her greetings on the birthday of the great innovator seer of all times.
