Among the various projects initiated under Atal Tinkering Labs, one is ‘Boosting Healthcare through Vedic wisdom’. Under this project, the students Sakshi, Saloni, Anmol Shruti and team along with the project head Mrs. Seema Gupta are exploring medicinal value of various plants growing in vicinity. The molecular medicines have side effects and are very costly, these herbs can prove to be an effective, healthy and pocket friendly alternative medicine. Moreover, it would help to create awareness for the value and importance of biodiversity among the masses. The project team has hung the placards on the trees in Rose Garden through which people can know the name of the plant with its medicinal value. School is also creating enlightenment among the students to understand the significance of biodiversity at young stage. Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi motivated the students to explore ancient wisdom and take pride in our traditional knowledge by knowing its scientific aspects as well as enrich our Vedic roots through technology.
