Paying a tribute to the great patriot, the loyal son of Bharat Mata, the man with iron will, of dedication and perseverance, Bhartiyans (BVM, USN) celebrated the 143rd birth anniversery of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,the Iron Man of India with patriotic fervor during the morning assembly. On this occasion, the speech delivered by our revered Prime Minister ‘ Mann Ki baat’ was played to aware the students about the great contribution of the freedom movement icon, Sardar Patel who initiated whole heartedly for the integrity of the nation. Principal, Mrs Bandana Sethi enlighted the students about the crucial role played by Sardar Patel in the process of unification of India which inolved political integration of the various princely states. She also made the students acquainted with the wonderful event of unveiling of the Statue of Unity which is built in Gujarat as a tribute to the great freedom fighter. This statue of unity is the highest statue of the world which is symbolic of India’s unity and integrity.
