National Science Day was observed at BVM , USN in the memory of 'Raman's effect' a Nobel prize winning Scientific contribution by Prof C.V. Raman. Ms Sunaina ( a teacher) highlighted the importance of day during the morning assembly. She said that on this day in 1928, Sir C.V. Raman proclaimed the innovation of the Raman effect for which he was rewarded with Nobel prize in 1930.Principal in her address said that the day holds great significance for Indian Science and scientific community. She further added that the day gives an opportunity to thank all the great scientists for their remarkable contribution and dedication.
