To honour the martyrs and the men in uniform who valiantly fight on borders to safeguard the country's honour, 7th December Armed Forces Flag Day was observed at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Udham Singh Nagar today. The day was commemorated to appreciate and acknowledge the supreme sacrifices made by the army personnel. Army flags were distributed as a token of gratitude. Students acknowledged both veteran and current military personnel of the country and paid homage to those who died in-service. Ms Rachna Bala (Phy.Edu Instructor) stated that our admiration for the brave and gallant martyrs who served the motherland by offering their lives will always be high. A poem by Drishti (IV) was a sincere salute to the exemplary valour. Remembering the personnel of Army , Navy and Air Force. Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal paid a tribute saying that we are safe because we have our brave soldiers, protecting our territory every moment. So let's salute and extend our best wishes and gratitude to our brave and great martyrs of the army.
